Bridal Shower

It was friday the 21st of December and I had to bring my stuffs for the Bridal Shower. Hoping that I could come even if I know that every friday is very critical for my work. So I just decided to bring my things even if I'd come very late. I was wearing my new fave semi formal look that I was supposed to wear last Fashion Week.

I had an interview in the morning along Boni ave. Which was an on the spot because I wasn't able to ask permission that I'd have to go for a half day. It was a negative one because #1 Global Quest an agency which I thought was the exact company that I was applying for but its just a God damn 3rd party! #2 the lady "HR" or for who she effin is gave me a wrong address that instead of tower 2 it was tower 1. Lastly, they were looking for a 3D artist and not a print artist. I already knew what will it has to be so I didn't have any hopes for it.

I right away texted that stupid girl to make up her details and be more responsible with her instructions and what are needed. Anyways I just want to share w/ you a bad experience that everyone could experience.

So moving along, I arrived work by 11ish and I only saw few of us. Our head supervisor told me it was ok and if we don't have any deadlines we could go home early. My ears clapped thinking there was a chance of catching up w/ my friends. XD

We were all demanded by Magnolia to bring foods so I didn't know what to bring until my workmate told me she's gonna buy J.Co Donuts at Megamall. I was blown by how better the donuts than with Krispy Kreme and the likes. We  went there straight at exactly 4pm as allowed for an early out. I didn't know that people actually patronize J.Co having an exaggerated line. My feet were so damn aching while we were talking about issues in our company. It was a bit traumatic falling in line, being hungry and so on.

We rode an fx ride going to Quiapo and so I arrived to the hotel with tons of knocks because they were so busy playing a God damn icon game. T.T

We had to go to SM San Lazaro to buy our headdresses and extra food since we're gonna stay for an overnight in the hotel.
It was very fun to go for some errands before the event. I felt like my stress was already turning into dust. xD

I was ranting about going for a swim first thing in the morning hihi! Everyone was so kill joy! So I dragged Maggie to come with me in the pool! xD

It was supposed to be just a Bridal Shower but then we were talking about checking in a hotel for pampering. And Maggie asked everyone if they want to celebrate all in one place and time. Which is the best thing to gather everyone. #thumbsup I took videos during the giving of message via Bel's phone. I told Sha to come to the Philippines once in a while every year. It will be just so sad for us especially me and Maggie who always go out every week. :( I'm thinking of coming with her and Maggie in Japan in the future. Work there altogether convinced me to work abroad. I'm very dependent to my parents but being with my friends is like being with family. I treat them like my sisters.  And losing them is quite hard for me. They're one of the people who tolerates my mood swings. lol. And I love them for that!

So enough for the drama. And I'll share soon photos from the wedding! :3

Just A Walk In The Park

This look reminds me of "Mori Boy", having earthy tones from head to toe. I bought a lot of shirts in Mint last season and I was thinking of how will I style it. I got my palette taste that will suit up this pastel yellow. And everything went on like in the same shades. I grabbed this large size vest that I already used once from my dad. It added up the vintage effect of the earthy tones.

image
What I like about this look is that even if it has layers,  the fabric is not that heavy. The vest can be hand carried and folded if it's too hot in the afternoon.
I wore my forever versatile straw hat so at least I have something on my head. It makes me feel special when I wear this. Everybody told me it suits my hair. xD
image
I bought my net shoes last year in Mogao for a very cheap price. This is the only time I wore this for Lookbook. Yay! lol. It's very comfortable and versatile for any casual outfit. Feels like wearing a ninja flat shoes because its very light but you cannot use it during rainy season for it might get ripped. xD

What I'm wearing: Basic shirt, Mint | Pants. Paporma | Strawhat, Rebel Gear | Vest, Dad's closet |
Socks and necklace, Saizen | Shoes, Mogao | Bracelets, 168

Hype this look here

How I wish there is winter and autumn here in our country and I'd surely have more layers. I have lots of style inspirations from Lookbook that I wish I can also wear here. But then its hard to style and go out in a very hot sunny day. Especially the fact that I do sweat a lot. xD

The best needs and the most comfortable tops are the basic shirts. And I always make it a point to style it with accessories.
Its like my style fixation. Even how cheap my shirt is. I consider it as a practice.
Grooming myself and challenge myself to be more creative with whatever I wear.

Pretty Amazing

Because my skin gets too dry whenever I wipe my oil using oil film, I wanted to try a liquid foundation. I had no idea which one suits my sensitive skin so I was a bit amazed with the ones in Nichido. So then I  bought it and afterwards I feel like its smudgy on my face like oily. And Thank goodness Maggie bought a press powder from Maybelline with a free BB cream and gave me one. I really like he effect! It even outs my face! Not smudgy, matte effect and it really looks fresh!

So right away I went to the mall and sought for it. I found out that the BB cream was on sale til the end of December so then I bought 2 of it since she said there were only 2 left. I could store it as a stock perhaps.

image
I was really not convinced by those BB creams that Koreans use because I actually thought that those are just primers but hell I didn't know that some offers 8-in1! Meaning you could use it as a sunscreen, a primer, a foundation and so on! Really too good to be true but it is! Altho I still bring my press powder for retouches I'm considering BB cream for Maybelline as very convenient, light and easy to bring.
image
I ran out of facial wash so I thought of trying again a facial foam by Etude House. Why?
Because its enough for a month and more for its affordable price. And now not only my sister use this
but I'm just not sure if my parents too.  lol.

*Now I have to be specific on this one: After going back to my blonde hair, it has been very crazy needing something to paint on my eyebrows. Although I was broke the first week of December (haha) I had a time to research what other kind of brands that offers very light shades esp for my kind of hair. I know there's limited in our country unlike in Japan or Korea (unless you're gonna bleach your brows too).

Gladly I bumped into this store where they offer every known make-up brands. And a lady recommended a shade from "IN2IT" that comes w/ a pencil for only Php420.00. Before I got Etude House very light brown shade for Php300+. And realized that the In2it brand is a bit lighter, more like golden shade better than the Etude one, plus the fact that its cheaper having both pencil and the eyebrow mascara.

It went for a week before I decided to purchase the brand in2it as soon as I got my salary. Hihi.

So here is it. Why should you buy this product:
1.) It's cheaper to think having 2 in 1
2.) It's best for blonde hair and/or you can mix it w/ a darker shade of pencil when you get your hair darker.
3.) Its long lasting
4.) It's waterproof
5.) Easy to apply and seen even w/ just 2 strokes

What's the negative side of it:
1.) When over applied it will make your eyebrows frosted.
2.) The eyebrow pencil isn't that thick when applied.
3.) The mascara is a shiny or a bit glittery. So you need to tone it down a bit esp for the guy users like me.
4.) The case outside looks full but just not sure if its as well in the inside.

And then comes to this very effective lip moisturizer. Lip balm from Maybelline. One thing that I love about it? Its not a lip gloss but it gives that rosy fresh lips at the same time it prevents your lips from cracking. I can feel like it's my best friend to french kissing. lol.

As a guy I'm not really into make-ups but as grooming goes along my way I get to discover things to improve myself more. Trying things to make myself look better. And be able to share with you guys how good these things that I buy. :) I hope this blog would somehow be helpful and give you options when it comes to grooming. ;) So try it out and feel free to ask me questions! #wink

Goodbye 2012! Hello 2013!

So how was your New Year guys? Been eating so much lately? lol. I bet you guys got a load of shopping bags too! And finally got to update your wardrobe eh? ;) Well I had a very subtle celebration of New Year, partly because I'm scared of fire crackers and I couldn't breathe with that cloud of smoke. My place went on zero visibility as the clock started hitting 12. Should I say it was the usual hardcore New Year's celebration that I expect. haha.

On the other hand, I'd like to divert the topic with shopping since thats mostly what I did before the year ended. lol. A total stress killer! lol. And so even if I already bought a new pair of shoes as a Christmas gift for myself, I still bought this pair which I was eyeing before. It's cheap but very useable incases I needed to. I promised myself to make it a point at least update my shoes once in a while when I have extra money. Especially now that I'm seeing my shoes being overused from work. I need to try more hard ones than the flats that I used to.
image
image
I'm getting that value which I lately felt having a new pair because I'm really not into shoes.
I feel like its really important to complete a look with a really nice polished shoes. More mature looking perhaps?
image
I'm not into brands thats why I buy shoes that looks best to what I wear for everyday and of course fi it would fit my budget.
image
I wont say the brand anymore because maybe you probably have the same pair as well. LOL.

Its my first time to have this "Oxblood" (as a new trend they called for this shade/texture). Well I admit that its a bit hard to suit in my wardrobe. But eventually I'll get in the right shade as I research for this. ;)

Meanwhile, in a few days we will be celebrating my friend's wedding. And I'm just so excited! I have to share with you guys some of our pictures during her Bridal Shower! That is after I get everything from Bel. xD Will keep you guys posted!
